- Registration starts at 5;00 AM
- Races start at 6:00 AM
- DIRECTIONS (New): From SR202 > North on Scottsdale Rd > East on McKellips > North on Hayden >
West on Pierce (Just north of McKellips at Salt Cellar Restaurant) > Vista del Camino Park, Parking
Area.
- COURSE: New "5k lollipop loop" (click this link) on sidewalk will take you towards Tempe Town Lake.
Lap distance remains 5K but now includes 1/4 mile of grass per lap. Surface is more than 99 percent cement sidewalk and the
rest is dirt/cinder. Terrain is approximately 95 percent flat with 4 minor rises/descents (3 of approx. 5 ft, and 1 of approx 10 ft).
There is one full aid station (water, aid, Coke, Mtn Dew, cheese puffs, Clif Bars, bananas, fig bars,
cookies, chips, pretzels, bean roll-ups, PB&J, gummies, peanuts, boiled potatoes, oranges) at the
Start/Finish area and a second "water only" aid and runner tracking station at the turn-around (south
end), at approx 1.2 Mi.
- TIMING: By ARR using ChampionChip
- AWARDS: Unique "Mad Dog" awards to 1st Place Overall Male & Female and 10-Yr Age Groups in both
