The meeting was called to order at 6:32 P. M.

The meeting agenda was adopted and the minutes from the previous Board Meeting were approved as
amended.

TREASURERS REPORT: Hal indicated a current bank balance of $15,200.00 and he will now represent
the Club as Statutory Agent. The yearly tax returns are completed and due 5/15/06. Hal presented
the Board with the complete 2005 financial report.

PRESIDENTIAL REPORT Steve introduced discussion pertaining to Lifetime Membership inclusions. A
motion was made and unanimously approved to award Ann and Rob Wallack Lifetime Membership to ARR
for all the dedicated services and assistance they have given our Club and our sport. The
membership report included a significant number of new members.

CLOTHING REPORT: Ian reports the design for our Summer Series shirts is near completion.

OLD BUSINESS: Perry Edinger is preparing medical information for our aid station personnel. Burke
Painter presented a detailed report on The American Medical Athletic Association, a group working
to standardize medical care at athletic events. The Night Run for the Arts and Summer Series #1
were recapped and discussed.

NEW BUSINESS: The possibility of adding new Board Members is under consideration. Plans for our
September election will appear in the next newsletter. The Arizona Road Racers have entered into
contractual discussion relating to timing the 2007 Pat’s Run. The ARR Scottsdale Community College
track program is under consideration and we hope to increase participation.
