If you choose to retire running shoes before the end of their useful life, consider donating them to the ARR Running-Shoe Recycling Program. We will collect your gently used shoes at all of our public events and will make the collected shoes available to local coaches of financially underprivileged student athletes. If you are such a coach, please send an email to steven finkelstein. I will create an email list, then use the list to occasionally announce times that I will be at the ARR warehouse with a new selection of shoes for you to look through. We will donate all leftover shoes to Saint Vincent DePaul.
