Clarkdale |
Sunday Mornings |
We're a small, friendly group of local runners,
2-10, who have been meeting on most Sunday
mornings for over 10 years. Most the time we meet
at a place called Pecks Lake in Clarkdale and run
laps around the lake. Each lap is about 4.5 miles
and we do anywhere from 2-5 laps, depending on the
distance of the event for which we're
training. We generally run at conversation pace,
except for lap 3 which is usually done at tempo
speed and which afterwards we regroup again for
the 4th lap. We also try to carpool to races,
especially in Phoenix where we run 10-15 a year,
mainly in the fall, winter and spring. Sometimes
we get together for a mid-week tempo run or track
workout. No pre-scheduled time for those. It's
best to give one of us a call before coming as
some weeks there's nobody who shows up. Contact
