It was a cool beautiful day at the Peoria Sports Complex. The 10M race started promptly at 8 and you could pick the leaders out at the start line. Marcos Bailon won the race in 52:51 at a 5:17 pace. Joshua Espinoza was close behind in 53:14 followed by Jonathin Harmon in 53:21. Lindsay Nelson won the woman's race in 1:01:27 at a 6:08 pace. Second was Tanya Gallagher in 1:02:16 and Suzy Schumacher was third in 1:05:76. In the 5K race Jaoshua Trevino scorched the field in 15:07. Seconds behind him was brother Jason in 15:11. Brandon Kocmoud was third in 15:19. The fastest woman was Brooke Andrus at 17:37. 13 year old Caroline McClelland was second in 18:01 and Kim Tritz was third in 18:09.
